Community Intelligence

Public data should clarify communities, not hide its limits.

What it does

Transparent community intelligence from governed public evidence.

CommunityOS connects source data, geography, indicators, findings, investigations, and certified reports into one reviewable evidence trail.

Explore

Search supported ZIP codes, wards, tracts, districts, and community scopes.

Understand

Review indicators, trends, anomalies, risks, opportunities, and confidence.

Investigate

Move from a public question to governed notes, actions, and evidence history.

Publish

Generate certified web, print, and PDF reports with source and limitation notes.

Trust boundary

Verified scope matters.

Current verified package

Washington, DC is the verified jurisdiction package in the current release, including Census ACS demographics, DC 311 requests, building permits, MPD crime incidents, and DDOT transportation crashes.

What it does not do

CommunityOS does not rank communities, infer causes from unsupported evidence, or silently substitute broader context for local evidence. Coverage and confidence stay visible.

Public data availability does not automatically authorize republication. Privacy, licensing, safety, validation, and freshness gates can hold a source from publication.
Product FAQ

Common questions

Can CommunityOS support geographies beyond Washington, DC?

Only where compatible certified evidence and runtime coverage exist. The current release treats Washington, DC as the verified jurisdiction package.

Does it depend on live third-party APIs for every question?

No. Requests resolve against governed, precomputed evidence so source availability and freshness can be disclosed rather than hidden.

Can reports be reviewed before publication?

Yes. Publication is gated by certification, safety, privacy, licensing, and evidence checks.
